I probably work more than the average person. I also put myself in situations where I try to challenge myself. I stepped into a Calculus 1 class at the University of Florida despite never having been formally taught anything about precalculus or calculus.

I told myself that I could just learn it from reading notes and youtube videos online. In college, I was probably working from 9am to 8pm on most days and going to the gym five days a week. Then, having a 2 month rest to do it again the next semester. I know most people don’t enjoy this, but it was great for me.

A year ago, I did 700 Leetcode submissions in the span of two months to study for interviews after my work day. I got a little cute badge for it. Things like this is what I love to do.

I like seeing different perspectives and talking to people who grew up eating different food with different religions with a different climate.
